Spring

With temps in the 60's it finally felt like spring this week in Cleveland. By the way, the first day of spring was THREE weeks ago!

But finally this week it has warmed up enough to get out the rake, clean up flower beds and pick up the winter detritus. I have been poking around the yard while I have been stripping some woodwork I intend to use in the camp. After you apply the stripper you have to let it set for 15 minutes before you remove it. You can do a lot of yard work in 15 minute intervals.

The snowdrops have bloomed and the maple trees are budding. In the front beds the crocus, tulips and daffodils are all through the ground.

My bluebells are also poking up too. They bloom early and then dy away for another year. In a couple of weeks they will look just like those pictured below.

Stop and smell the flowers where you find them...
